Homebrew: One Artist's Guide to Roleplaying Games (Book I)

After being asked every day how I write and run a short RPG each summer, I decided to put the line's I'd repeat daily to aspiring GMs in a handy instruction manual. I am in no way a trained Game Master; everything I think I know about running a game comes from watching my friends to it and picking on them afterwards (or crying alone when they pull a nasty plot twist!) My Quick n' Dirty Dungeons n' Dragons (QnDDnD) revolve around character creation and development, eschewing rules and statistics that might be difficult for new players to learn in the short time we had to spend together at summer camp. This zine includes basic starter mechanics, philosophies from different GMs that I've had the pleasure of playing with, and illustrated anecdotes from their games that inspire me to keep writing and playing! I hope that you'll be able to learn something from my insights and experiences; if not, it's a fun picture book at the very least :)
